Nutrition is not just Sustainable — it is Restorative.
As a nation, we have become accustomed to convenience, particularly when it comes to what we eat. There are fast food restaurants lining our streets and processed foods lining our grocery store shelves. Decades of poor nutrition have left Americans and their children sick, with serious problems like obesity, heart disease, and diabetes just to name a few. Many of these are preventable diseases. For years, the focus has been treating the symptoms with so called “band-aid treatments,” rarely getting to the root of the problem at hand and allowing the body to begin a restorative process. It is time for a change.
There are many who are now looking at the sources behind America’s health problems, finding out that by simply changing one’s diet can be the starting point to allowing the body to live as it was designed. After leaving your most recent doctor’s visit and just having been told that your diet must change due to allergies, infertility, ADHD or of obesity, you may feel slightly overwhelmed. Many times we get stopped in our tracks as we seek to make these changes in our lives because we don’t know what the next step is and, even if we know what the next step is, we don’t always know how to initiate or implement it.
I feel many families today find it hard to make those drastic changes in their diets because they just haven’t been given the resources to be successful. I can provide the guidance, resources and needed support for transitioning to better eating habits as you “restructure” your kitchen and meal planning and answer the never-ending question of “What’s for dinner?”.
I look forward to working with you!
Many Healthy Blessings,
